Although PIC is UK-based, its members come from many parts of the world. They all have one thing in common: they have invested in property projects in Dubai being managed by the same developer..

To date, the developer has acted, its members believe, inappropriately and, in some instances, verging on illegal. Individual members' attempts to seek information, compensation, direction and support from the developer, RERA, and the Dubai Land Department, have provided no results.

PIC Ltd was established to help generate a stronger voice for its members. Working under the guiding principle that ‘together we are stronger’, it is hoped that, by representing a significant number of investors, the developer and the local authorities will need to respond our combined calls for equitable treatment and appropriate dialogue.

It is to help get better engagement from the developer and, where needed, the authorities, that members join PIC Ltd; to help them try and make the most out of their current investments.

Yes. Currently we partner with a London-based firm -  Compliance and Risk Consultancy Services  - The Compliance Experts, to assist with due diligence, compliance checks and risk assessments. We also intend to work with other partners such as Law firms and Government departments as required in our work.

PIC primarily provides 4 services to its members:

1. Information: factual and reliable information on a range of subjects, including relevant legislations, background information on the Property Developers and the relevant authorities that oversee property developments.

2. Advice on Contractual Agreements: advisory assistance to members in regards to contracts and agreements associated with the development, including the Sales and Purchase agreement and the Service Agreement.

3. Representation: we can arrange to represent member and speak on their behalf at meetings they are unable to attend or do not feel qualified or confident in attending. We prepare full briefing documentation to keep them informed of the discussions and the decisions reached at the meetings.

4. Dealing with Complaints: Should our members have a complaint to make to their property developer, PIC can raise this up on their behalf and provide them with feedback on the outcome.

PIC can also provide bespoke services to individuals as and when required. These will be discussed on a 1-2-1 basis.

A: To date ACW have been erratic in both the timing and the consistency of information they provide their investors. As investors have started to raise issues with the developer this approach has increased, giving little relevance or acknowledgement to individual investors.

Similarly responses from the local authorities, RERA and DLD, have been equally lack lustre. The combined impact of the group of investors that PIC represent gives all members a significantly greater voice in having their concerns heard and dealt with.

Absolutely not. The membership document will clearly define what you want the PIC to do on your behalf. The PIC will not have any direct dealing with your property in Dubai. It will only be your spokesperson and will engage in discussions of which you will be kept fully aware of at every stage. You will be entitled to a Member Newsletter and direct emails from the PIC Management Board which is comprised of ACW Investors like yourself.
